About Corinna Trimborn

Corinna Trimborn

1982-1984 Studied Visual Communications in Krefeld, Germany at the Fachhochschule für visuelle Kommunikation Niederrhein. Majored in figure and nude drawing.

1984-1989 Studied Fashion Design in Hamburg, Germany at the Fachhochschule für Design & Kunst Hamburg. Graduated with honors.

1984-1994 Founded Art Association "Lupa". Independent development of new “body-world” performance art concepts and living sculptures with performances in various European museums. The performance art group was the first prize winner of Euro-Design Pyramid, Basel, Switzerland.

1994-2004 Designed costumes and sets for German TV productions.

1997-2001 Studied oil painting with Prof. Wolf Seesselberg (Art Academy Hamburg)

2001-2002 Studied photography and digital image post production at the Academy of Electronic Communications Science in Hamburg.

2005 to present Independent Artist. Co-founded NOCOart Studio in Saint Martin. Ongoing group and solo shows in St. Martin/Sint Maarten.

2007-2010 Teaching drawing and painting at SOL’art (a private school) in Marigot and providing individual and group private art lessons.

2010 Created CIN Gallery in Simpson Bay together with her sister Norma Trimborn and Isabelle Soccar. Founded the Art Matters Foundation.
